Mr Felix Saucan

Felix Saucan completed his nursing degree in 1998, marking the beginning of his journey in the medical field. In 2009, he found his niche in ophthalmology and immediately fell in love with the field. Driven by a desire to enhance his skills and contribute more effectively to his department, Felix pursued additional training opportunities.

His quest for knowledge led him first to Canterbury University, where he underwent anaesthetic training to support anaesthetists in their work. Building upon this foundation, he pursued ophthalmic training at Brighton University, completing a comprehensive curriculum encompassing outpatients, emergency care, and surgical procedures in ophthalmology. Equipped with newfound expertise and confidence, Felix recognised the opportunity to expand his role as a practitioner.

Driven by a commitment to improving patient experiences, Felix sought further training in administering local anaesthetic eye blocks (SubTenon) for individuals undergoing eye surgery. His dedication to ensuring pain-free procedures and optimal outcomes exemplifies his commitment to excellence. As a leader within his team, Felix sets a high standard through his own exemplary performance.

When presented with the opportunity to join The Doctor Clinic, Felix saw it as a chance to apply his skills and expertise in a new setting. He eagerly anticipates the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, confident in his ability to make meaningful contributions to the clinic’s success. Felix is excited to embark on this new chapter and looks forward to the promising future that awaits at The Doctor Clinic.
